Axis Communications recently debuted a competitively priced 3MP, vandal-resistant, dust-proof fixed mini dome camera with a wide-angle lens which records in full 1080p HD. The camera is known as the Axis M3006-V Network Camera and has been designed to meet the needs of industries where price could be a deciding factor, like retailers, hotels, schools or offices.
According to Director of Product Management for Axis Erik Frännlid, “Axis M3006-V has the performance, the easy installation features and the price to be an attractive offering for many market segments. The camera provides wide coverage, 3-megapixel images for superb details and HDTV 1080p for capturing movements clearly. It has considerable capacity for intelligent video applications, support for video management software such as the complimentary Axis Camera Companion, and enables quick installation on walls or ceilings, all at a great price.”
This camera has a viewing angle of 134° and when installed near a corner, offers complete coverage, allowing the user to have a complete field of view over everything. In addition to that, the camera can be mounted on walls or ceilings thanks to the 3-axis camera angle adjustment while the direction of the camera can be easily adjusted and the image leveled.
The M3006-V also supports Axis’ Corridor Format, enabling vertically oriented video streams that optimize coverage of areas like corridors, hallways or store aisles. This camera has support for digital PTZ, which can be used as a digital varifocal lens, allowing the angle of view to be adjusted remotely after installing the camera.
The camera is focused upon delivery and comes with a 6.6 ft network cable attached while also supporting Power over Ethernet. Substantial support for the installation of intelligent video applications through the Axis Camera Application Platform is available as well as a built in microSDHC card slot, enabling several days of recording to be stored locally on a memory card.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something that I feel I would by no means understand. It seems too complicated and extremely wide for me. I’m taking a look ahead in your subsequent post, I’ll attempt to get the dangle of it!
