Next Level Security Systems Debuts NLSS Gateway 3.0

Next Level Security Systems NSLL Gateway 3.0Next Level Security Systems recently announced the release of the NLSS Gateway 3.0, the latest version of the company’s flagship product, the NLSS Gateway. This device is a unified security management system that integrates IP access control, video management and video analytics into a single, easy-to-use networked platform.

The 3.0 upgrade allows users to leverage facial recognition and detection as well as create audio alerts. In addition to that, it adds support for a plethora of camera manufacturers. One available add-on feature for the NLSS Gateway 3.0 is the NextDetect facial recognition analytic.

This unique software allows users to create or upload an image database to be searched against and then across multiple cameras for potential matches. Whenever a match between a captured face and an image in the database is discovered, an email or mobile alert can be sent to the user via email or text message.

According to Chairman and CEO of Next Level Security Systems Peter Jankowski, “Facial recognition allows users to do more with the video they are already capturing, to create a proactive security environment where potential threats are detected before it’s too late. Adding NextDetect to our unified management software provides customers with a unique, advanced and proactive analytic to expand prevention capabilities.”

The upgraded NLSS Gateway 3.0 works with the Gateway 500, 3000 and 5000 with upgraded features including the ability to send audio alerts and supported integration with additional camera brands. In addition to supporting IP-based surveillance cameras that conform to ONVIF standards, the Gateway 3.0 also supports cameras from many major manufacturers, including Arecont, Axis, Bosch, IQInVision, Panasonic, Pelco and Sony.
